Please read carefully the information listed below regarding our wood composite bat warranty:
Warranty Period
Our product replacement warranty covers the same time period as most wood composite bat manufacturers.
• Our wood composite bats are supported with a 3 month (90 day) replacement warranty policy
• The warranty period begins from the date of original purchase
Sales Receipt
It is very important to keep your original sports store or “Haag Bat Company” sales receipt.
• When returning a bat for replacement, you must provide a copy of your purchase receipt
• No bat will be replaced without a proof of purchase receipt
Return Process
If a warranty replacement is required, it must be returned to our main manufacturing office in Parker, Colorado.
• Returned bats must be received and then fall into our warranty coverage before replacement can be issued
• Bats being returned for warranty replacement, will be shipped at customer expense (typically $10 USPS)
• Upon receipt of replacement bats from customers, please allow 7-10 business days to receive your new bat
Warranty Coverage:
Our wood composite bats are manufactured with a fiberglass fabric reinforced outer layer, bonded on with a waterproof resin.
• Not Covered Under Warranty:
1. Barrel compression/denting of the wood core or
2. Small fiberglass fabric cracks are most common in this design or
3. “Dead” bat performance from excessive use by multiple players or
4. If the bat “Trademark” or “BBCOR” label has been removed
• Warranty Will Cover:
1. A bat will be replaced if the core is cracked (visible crack in cupped end or handle area) or
2. significant amount of fiberglass fabric is lost from the barrel area
Bat Care
In order to preserve your bat life and to obtain peak performance, here are important steps to follow:
• Rotate the bat 1/8 to 1/4 turn after each swing – Repeated barrel hits in one spot may cause excessive barrel compression and premature fiberglass shell cracking
• With our fiberglass overlay design, players do not need to have the bat trademark label up or down
Use and Sharing
Sharing your new bat with other players or extended BP will shorten its high performance lifetime.
• We recommend you treat your new wood composite bat as a high performance tool and use it in game situations only.
• In order to help prolong your bat’s lifetime, we recommend limiting practice (batting practice/cage) time with your new wood composite bat and if possible urge you to use an older bat in practice situations.
Please keep this information on record and contact us with any questions you may have.
